CoreWeave, a US-based cloud computing company specializing in GPU-accelerated infrastructure for artificial intelligence, said Monday it raised $2 billion through an equity investment from NVIDIA.
CoreWeave shares (CRWV) rose 10% in pre-market trading on Monday after the announcement, according to Yahoo Finance.
NVIDIA purchased CoreWeave’s Class A common stock at $87.2 per share, the company said, in a move reflecting confidence in CoreWeave’s business and growth strategy as a cloud platform built on NVIDIA technology.
CoreWeave began working with NVIDIA in late 2020 after joining NVIDIA’s Cloud Service Provider Program, integrating NVIDIA GPUs into its cloud to support artificial intelligence, high-performance computing, machine learning, and rendering workloads.
The partnership has since deepened. In September 2025, CoreWeave signed a $6.3 billion cloud-capacity agreement with NVIDIA, one of the largest deals in the cloud infrastructure sector.
Separately from the $2 billion share purchase, CoreWeave said today it has expanded the partnership to accelerate the buildout of more than 5 gigawatts of AI factories by 2030.
Under the expanded relationship, CoreWeave will deploy multiple generations of NVIDIA infrastructure, including the Rubin platform, Vera CPUs, and BlueField networking and storage systems.
NVIDIA will also use its financial strength to help accelerate CoreWeave’s procurement of land, power, and facilities.

CoreWeave CEO Michael Intrator said the expanded collaboration “underscores the strength of demand” across its customer base as AI systems transition into large-scale production.
The companies also plan to test and validate CoreWeave’s AI-native software, including SUNK and CoreWeave Mission Control, for potential inclusion in NVIDIA’s reference architecture for cloud partners and enterprise customers.
