The Ethereum Layer-2 network Base has officially opened applications for “Base Batches 03,” an accelerator program designed to fast-track builders and founders in the blockchain space.
The initiative aims to support developers in transforming concepts into live products on the Base network, offering participants opportunities for funding, mentorship, and international exposure.
The announcement was made during Base’s first anniversary meetup.
Funding and San Francisco Demo Day
According to the program announcement, successful applicants will gain access to potential investment from Coinbase Ventures and the Base Ecosystem Fund.
Beyond capital, selected teams will receive one-on-one mentorship from industry experts to refine their projects. The program culminates in a “Demo Day” held in San Francisco, California, where the best teams will be flown out to present their live projects directly to venture capitalists and accelerators.
Tracks and Deadlines
The program is divided into three specific tracks to cater to different stages of development and sectors. The deadlines for each track are as follows:
- Startup Track (Deadline: March 9, 2026): This track is tailored for projects that already have live products and are ready to scale their operations.
- Robotics Track (Deadline: March 20, 2026): A specialized track for builders developing projects at the intersection of blockchain, AI, and robotics.
- Student Track (Deadline: April 27, 2026): A dedicated category specifically for student founders and builders.
Registration Details
Registration for the cohort began on February 17. Base Philippines emphasized that the program is open to Filipino builders, with the intent to showcase local talent on the global stage.
Interested applicants can register and view full details at basebatches.xyz. Builders interested in the Startup Track are advised to apply immediately, as the window closes this coming week.
